clingy

A couple of weeks ago, Zoe started getting clingy. It happened pretty suddenly and took us by surprise because up till then, she would crawl up to just about anyone (as long as they didn´t sport a beard), smile at them and gladly let herself be swept off her feet. But now, especially when she´s a bit tired, it takes her ages to warm up to a stranger, and sometimes even to people she should know. Her uncle Marc is an example (even though things might be different if he shaved...). Instead, she will press herself firmly against either Vivien or me, holding on for dear life - and from that safe haven she will then proceed to coyly eye the stranger.
