Flower power girl

If you think brides are excited ahead of a wedding, imagine how a three-year old flower girl feels. Zoe was stoked when Lisi asked her, especially as she knew the role comes with a pretty dress and new shoes. So a large part of the pre-wedding excitement centred on what she would wear at the actual event, culminating in Lisi's promise to go shoe-hunting with her - "I love you Mama, but you're not allowed to come along". On the wedding day Zoe was remarkably calm, only showing a hint of tension just before she was supposed to lead the bride's procession through the garden to where Gav was waiting. But she quickly got over that, leading the parade all solemnly and proud. Afterwards of course came the inevitable question: Mama and Papa, when are you getting married? Ahhh...
