First day of Nippers

Nippers, for the uninitiated, is Australia's way of introducing kids to the fun and perils of beach life. Generations of young Aussies, and their parents, have gone through the arduous Sunday-morning ritual of putting on funny swim caps, lying in the sand and sprinting to some little sticks in the ground. In between they learn a bunch of safety rules like the importance of swimming between the flags. But surely the highlight is the racing. Dunno where Zoe picked up this running style, but it was surprisingly effective.
