Two wheels good, four wheels better

...or so we thought. Zoe was ultra-keen on getting a little bike after she saw her friend Angel whizzing around on one. And when we took her to a bike shop and she found this little pink number with a basket at the front, there was no way we were going to get her out of the place without the bike. So it turned into a belated Christmas present, suckers that we are. Initially it was all good, Zoe enjoyed taking the bike for a spin around the backyard. It was only when we decided to hit the big sidewalk that she baulked. Too fast, too wobbly, too many dogs too close - whatever it was she did not enjoy the ride. So it's back to the backyard for now. But Zoe does think Papa's new scooter is pretty cool...

I want glasses

Zoe has been obsessed with glasses for a while and thinks it's hugely unfair that both Viv and I get to wear them every day while she gets told she'll have to wait another couple of years. When Vivien got herself a new pair the other day, Zoe thought it was time to join in the fun. So Viv gave her an old pair without lenses that she now proudly wears around the house. She reckons they make her look like Germany Oma...
